Mirror & Window
Limousines with blackened windows; opened or translucent curtains in a brightly lit house on summer's eve walk; a mirrored window on the promenade deck of a cruise ship. From the inside of these places, there is the protection of believing in the barrier's ability to shield. And perhaps it is this belief that causes us, when on the other side of a mirrored window, to forget that beyond this place where you check your hair, or straighten the hem of your dress, is someone looking back out.
